Business goals

My personal goals is to make the security company of started grow.before taking this class, I started a security company with a few coworkers. I am in the process of trying to expand My client as well as reliable staff. It is Because of the field I chose to go into it is really hard to find people that are already trained and qualified. As of right now, we are just doing small businesses such as bars and wedding venues. I would like to expand it to corporate accounts as well.

First impression

My first impression of this class was that it might be very difficult with everything I already had going on. After being in the class for a while, I realize that it is challenging, but also made me see where I needed to improve in my school. With this information, I plan to try even harder next semester and work on my communication skills as well as my grammar skills. I feel like these skills are very important and business and in school.I also learned that I am very bad at thinking outside the box and putting stuff in my own perspective at times.

leadership style

I feel as a person. I am a very introverted leader. I do lean on my business partners to handle the fieldwork, but I have also learned that sometime I do need to step up and takecontrol of certain situations.with the knowledge I have gained from class about being a leader. It has helped me see some of my smaller business mistakes that I am working with fix, even though even though I hate being the bad guy, sometimes it is was necessary to have a successful business.

Future business

In the next 10 years, I would hope that the company I have founded will have grown tremendously. I would’ve hoped we have 15 commercial accounts as well as residential accounts. I hope to have a strong team of trained guards ready to handle any situation. Also that we will be on the main security company in the Midwest.

Chapter 11 is about computer hardware and application and the functions. It teaches us about the computer and how they can help us with managing a company and with work. The chapter goes on to discuss how using the internet and software can make a different when on a business. Technology has come a long way and for me personally it can be very helpful in a lot of cases. For example I’m not good at expressing what I want my readers to get from what I write but with the help of technology I can get My point across easily. It’s the same with the use of technology in a business it can make managing a company so much easier from processing payment to securing your customer information and making investment plan. Technology has a lot of pro but you need to be ware of the cons as well such as hackers and virus who main goal is either get a hold of information or mess up your whole system.

In this chapter, I have learned the importance of a good management team. Such as human resources and the crucial role they play in a business for example, vetting employees, concerns, and problems as well as oversee the company issues. I would work in HR because I believe working in HR would be a good challenge for me to put whatever I have learned and my skills to test. The best way to hire the right person is by Looking into their prior jobs. Also asking them questions or scenario questions of something they have been through or will go through. Another thing that will help to hire the right person is their references and background check. A work life balance is having a good separation between work and personal life. I believe a work life balance is possible. The way to have a good Work life balance is to set time aside for your personal life even when things get busy or hard at work. An employee performance evaluation is an evaluation of how well someone is doing at their job. The best way to tell someone that they are doing a poor job is by reviewing the Work and giving them crucial feedback on what the problem was with the Job. Honestly, I feel that laying someone off or firing them would be hard, but at the end of the day you have To do what’s best for the company even if it is a difficult decision.

Being a manager isn’t an easy job because you are responsible for everything under you keeping track of paperwork and schedules. Everyone will not always get along with their manager due to management having to be strict and keep everything in order and on task. One thing I have learned is the levels and responsibility of management and the big roles they play in companies and why it is important to have good and strong management. I have been a been a part of the management teams but just an assistant so less responsibility then management. I want to be an owner of my own company instead of a manager for someone. In this class I have learned all about the importance of a good company foundation and all the hard work it takes to to start up an successful business and plan to using this in my life dreams and goals.

Time management ~ I have a normal super busy schedule and time management for me can be hard from time to time. I schedule school work after I got out of working 8 to 10 hr. I normally wake up by 6:30 ish to get my kids up for school and send them off back home for a nap then. After all that time to get the kids stuff ready for the night and off to work. Time management can be a hard thing to do especially right now with my mobility limitations due to an injury and thing popping up with my children. If I don’t stay on schedule my hole day and week is off.

Course competencies~ One big thing I take away from this is time management is Important when it comes to your life and business. The second thing I take away from this class is communication is key to success the way you talk to client and sell your business can help you go far.

Business plan~ creating a business plan isn’t as simple as I thought it would be. Honestly it was challenging and make me think about what my honest business intentions and goals for the company I was to start is.

Feedback ~ I do like the class and learning a lot of new and helpfully things that I am applying to my start-up and life skills.

GPD is a system used to measure service and goods over a specific amount of time. For example if I’m buying programs from china for six months. GPD will determine if you have a greater investment in products or loss money in products .

I believe business should not change some of their practices when it comes to new countries because they’re giving other countries some job opportunities. I believe local customs come in to play when importing an exporting to make sure there is no illegal actions going on. 

I do believe there should be lots of rules when it comes to international trade because, It will prevent illegal activity as well as mistreatment of workers. The rules in international trade should allow for businesses to create better opportunities. There should be laws concerning where the products and how they were obtained or created and the work conditions from where the product came.

Personally, I have been with a critical dilemmas in my life, but I have not had to face them academically. It is important for businesses to have strong ethics to ensure the safety of the people that’s working for them and their company. for example the Apple case having children work under 70 foot cliff is unethical. but they do it so that they can get there materials cheaper. Even though they’re trying to make it seem ethical by improving work conditions and monitoring. The technical advancements that have changed society are cell phones, and smart devices. business is Carrie responsibility to their workers and consumers as advancements change society because like cell phones most gets out to the public. for example, if a company is practicing unethical behavior most likely people are going to boycott or take a stand against the company. One thing I never thought about in my career is business ethics, and how they play an important part in my career.

The US has a the mixed economic system, both capitalism and socialism. The free market allow businesses to be in competition with one another It also give company freedom to change the prices as they feel necessary. For example cigarette company’s there are a bunch of different company’s with different brands. All the company goals are the same to get you hook on their products and drive up their sells. Even though they are selling the same product with very little differences te compay really on discount, and custermer view to drive there sells up and get more loyal customers. Although We have a free market it not completely free due to it being a socialism economy as well. In a socialism economy the government has a say in how the company’s products. The company due have regulations on things like state and government taxes they need to add and laws they must follow for example cigarettes companies can’t not sell to any under 21 in Wisconsin. They must put up big warning signs where there product is sold and also in different languages if that part of the a it. t he U.S is a mixed economy it also balances out the power to help protect people and the economy.

China’s has a socialist market economy system which means businesses and property’s are own by the government and not the people that created it. Meaning the government has all the say in business but over time the government has been slowly changing and giving so over the power back to the business owners. Meaning the company has more say in their choices and freedom. Which can help benefit their economy in a positive way.

I feel that there is no right economic system but the mixed economic systems seem to be the best one. Not only allows businesses to have control over their products. It also holds people responsible for their product and companies. It seems that the mixed economies have a balance which not only benefits the company itself, but also the economic system of that country.

Economic systems do matter when it comes to business. In certain economic systems, it can determine how much control you have over your business. Depending on economic situation can determine how successful your business will get and how fast it can grow. Knowing your economic situation in your country can be very beneficial when it comes to business also knowing your economic system can determine how much control you have over your business.

From what I’ve learned about economics is that the economy can play a big part in a business survival. Depending on the economy and the economic system in the country that you live in or working in will determine how much success you will have or opportunities you’ll have. I believe there is no right or wrong economic system, even though though I do favor more economic systems over others. I also believe that each country has set up an economic system that works forthe economy.
